Sygic’s GPS app with HUD (head-up-display) has arrived just in time for the for the busy holiday shopping season. More people are on the road this time of year and Sygic’s app aims to make travel safer well beyond the holidays.
The HUD feature is an in-app purchase that’s just $4.99. Drivers simply place their phone on the dashboard and the high-contrast HUD interface reflects on the windshield so drivers never have to take their eyes off the road. Only the most important information is highlighted and the feature is compatible with voice navigation.
Sygic’s navigation app is one of the most popular in the world, but lesser known in the United States. Although premium features will cost an extra $30 (basic navigation is free), compared to the $150 Garmin HUD it won’t take long for Sygic to become a familiar name in American navigation apps.
