Dash Camera Feature Updates
Camera Streaming
We corrected an issue that would occasionally cause the prior cameras video to display when a new camera was selected.
Camera Recordings
We resolved an issue that would cause the Camera Recordings report to fail to load when running it for all vehicles in larger fleets.
User Change Log
We now store an audit log of setting changes made by your users. This is helpful if you discover that changes were made to your settings and you need to determine who made the changes. At this time, requests for this report should be made to support@fieldlogix.com with the date range of the changes.
Major Releases
Goose Enhancement
Stop descriptions can now be viewed with each stop listed in the manage stops window. This gives your dispatchers more visibility into the details for each stop sent to your drivers.
User Experience Updates & Bug Fixes
We made several updates to address unexpected issues that could occur under certain circumstances.
Time clock Report
We corrected an issue that would cause the time clock summary report to fail to load.
Notifications Report
We updated the notification type filters in the Notifications Report by removing unnecessary or confusing filter items.
Landmark Uploader
We added additional fields to our .csv landmark uploader. These include client ID, phone numbers, emails, and alert settings. This helps if you use select landmarks when dispatching stops to your drivers as the client’s details will be pre-populated in the stop.
Posted Speed Limits
We applied an update to our mapping system to improve the accuracy of the posted speed limits for roads adjacent to highways. This includes frontage roads, on ramps, off ramps, and interchanges.
Upcoming Capabilities
We are currently in the process of fully integrating the dash camera solution into the FieldLogix portal and expect to have this functionality completed by the end of Q4. Included in this next release is the ability to pull the odometer from the vehicles’ engine computers (for 2019 or newer vehicles) and synching that with your virtual odometer. We are also working on improving our driver scorecard feature and sending drivers their scores and ranking. Other planned improvements during 2023 include routing and dispatching enhancements, more integrations, and a driver safety training program.
