Feature Updates
We have been hard at work enhancing FieldLogix to make it a more useful tool to help you be more productive. Here is a list of the enhancements that we released in the 2nd quarter of 2022.
Dash Cameras
We recently added a new dash camera solution to our product portfolio. The dash cameras support in-cab distracted driver monitoring, unsafe driving monitoring, as well as live streaming. Dash cameras provide you with evidence to defend yourself from fraudulent motorist claims. They also help you coach your drivers to avoid accidents. Device Management
We are working on giving you more control over device management. You now have the ability to transfer GPS tracking devices between vehicles. Users with administrative access can simply go to manage fleet, edit a vehicle and select the device to assign from the open devices dropdown. The history & settings for the old device will remain with the vehicle once the device is transferred.
DTC Alert Improvements
We’ve added a number of improvements to our diagnostic trouble code alerts. The Diagnostic Codes report now displays the description of the codes rather than linking you to a 3rd party website. You can also schedule the DTC report to be emailed to you automatically in the Report Scheduling section.
Bulk Delete Saved Routes
Users of our +Nav and Goose dispatching plan can now delete routes in bulk instead of one by one. This saves time for users who wish to keep their route list current. We’ve also added permissions that restrict users from deleting routes created by other users.
Add Notes to Vehicles
You can now add notes to your vehicles in the Manage Fleet section. Simply select the vehicle and click the edit button to add the notes. These notes are helpful for fleets who want to share data between multiple users regarding vehicles. This could include plans to retire the vehicles, the most recent service / repair notes, or anything else specific to the vehicle.
Unlock Users
Administrative users now have the ability to unlock users who have been locked out of the system after 3 unsuccessful login attempts. This saves you from submitting a support ticket to unlock your users. Simply go to Manage Users and select Unlock to grant your users access to the system.

Supply chain issues
We encountered several supply chain-related issues during the past few quarters. Our long-time device supplier (GenX) decided to shut down their entire product line after being acquired. It forced us to switch to alternate suppliers in order to fulfill our orders. The alternate suppliers also faced delays due to chip shortages. In addition to having to integrate these new devices, were were faced with a large influx of new orders, primarily due to the 3G network sunset. These combined issues pushed our fulfillment times out longer than usual. Fortunately, a majority of these issues are behind us and we are near the completion of our backlog. We expect to be back to our standard fulfillment times within the next 2 to 3 weeks.
