We are excited to announce several new FieldLogix feature updates for January!
Real-Time Dash Odometer
We are currently releasing a new feature that would allow you to sync your vehicle’s real-time odometer reading with our vOdometer. This feature, currently available for many 2019 and newer vehicles, will give you a more accurate odometer reading within FieldLogix. We are slowly rolling this out and expect to make it available to all accounts by the end of January. To sync your odometer, go to manage fleet. If you see a “resync” button next to your vehicle, then it has the ability to provide us with the vehicle’s real-time odometer. Click the button and it will update.
Business Lookup in Goose
Your Goose users can now search for a business name when adding new stops in the mobile app. This makes the process of adding new stops to their routes much easier, since they no longer have to enter the entire address for stops to local businesses. To access this feature, the driver would go to the Dispatch screen in the Goose app, then click the Add button. Once they click on the Location field, they can enter the businesses name in the address field. Nearby businesses with the name will display in as options that the driver can select. This is available now.
Fully Integrated Dash Cameras
We are wrapping up our fully integrated dash camera solution. Once this is complete, you will be able to view your dash camera videos inside the FieldLogix portal. This includes real-time video streaming, distracted driving event monitoring, unsafe driving behavior monitoring, etc. This release will also include video for after hours vehicle use and posted speed violations. The dash cameras will significantly improve driver safety since they provide you with an additional layer of accountability with irrefutable evidence when unsafe driving events occur. Users will continue to have the option to access the video data within our partner’s portal as well.
