New enhancements to make you more productive

We are excited to announce several new enhancements to FieldLogix for our August release.  This release includes a significant new feature, enhancements to existing features, user experience improvements, and bug fixes.

#
Usability Enhancements

We’ve added the following usability enhancements to make our features more intuitive for you.

Edit All Routes

We added a new permissions profile setting that gives you the ability to assign any of your users the rights to manage routes for any users.  This user would be able to edit and delete routes created by other users. To access this feature, go to Settings > Manage Users and edit a user.  On the user details tab, check the box labeled “Edit All Users Routes”.

Restrict Scorecard Weights

We give you the ability to restrict which users can adjust the weights for your settings in the Scorecard report.  This ensures that none of your system users attempt to modify the scores by adjusting the weights displayed on their report.  Currently, this is managed as a support request.  Please email us at support@fieldlogix.com with the users that you wish to have access to the scorecard weights settings and we will disable it for everyone else in your account.  We will be adding a user interface for this setting in the coming months.

Setting Fuel Costs & MPG Values for Vehicles

We split up the Fuel Cost and MPG fields on the Manage Fleet page so you can set these values for your vehicles independently of each other.  To manage this, go to Manage Fleet and edit the fields labeled “Update fuel cost” and “Update fuel economy”.

Timezone Updates on Manage Fleet

Users will now see a confirmation message when they attempt to update timezones for vehicles on the manage fleet page.  This ensures that they don’t inadvertently make changes to timezone settings for your vehicles.

Crash Risk Weather Forecast

The crash risk report lists certain risk probabilities for your drivers on a 24 to 72 hour period.  In some cases, the weather forecast may be the same for multiple days, but the crash risk may be different.  We added a description that states that other weather-related factors that are not displayed on the report may contribute to the different risk probabilities.  These could include factors such as UV levels, lowest temperature, highest temperature, and wind speed.

Goose Stop List

Your drivers will notice two new icons in their stop list.

There will be a green icon above the list and a red icon on the bottom of the list. They do not have functionality in the current version, but they exist as part of a new feature within our new web portal.  Once completed, these items will allow us to predict total route times and ETA’s for all of their stops when the stops are scheduled.

Bug Fixes

Corrected an issue where the drivers would remain in some report dropdowns after being deleted.

Fixed issues with driver profiles not saving and incorrect driver pictures being displayed.

FieldLogix Bridge:

Major Releases

#

Vehicle Inspections

We are excited to announce the release of our vehicle inspections feature within the Goose app.  Your drivers will have the ability to perform digital pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections through our mobile app.  This feature improves fleet safety by giving the fleet manager immediate details regarding any vehicle safety issues discovered by your drivers.  It is available as an add on to your existing services.  Visit our vehicle inspections (DVIR) page to learn more about this feature.  You can also watch the feature overview video here.

#

Landmark Notifications

Users now have the ability to set alert notifications for landmarks.  These notifications can alert you if a vehicle enters, parks inside, idles inside, or exits a landmark.  To access this feature, go to Settings > Manage Locations.  Click on an existing landmark or edit a new one to create the rule.  The notifications profile must be setup to send the alert to a specific individual.  To update the notifications, go to Settings > Manage Notifications and edit a notifications profile to designate the recipient of the notifications.

Safety Scorecard in Scheduled Reports

You can now setup the safety scorecard to be automatically emailed out as a scheduled report.  The report for individual drivers, groups of drivers, or the entire fleet can be scheduled to be sent on a nightly or weekly basis.  This helps if you would like to send your drivers their individual safety scores on a regular basis.  You can also send the groups’ scores to the group supervisors.
