Today Apple unveiled the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, and its new Apple watch. The sleek new watch is more aesthetically pleasing than current smartwatches on the market and comes in two screen sizes, 1.5 and 1.7 inches.
There are three models available: The basic Apple Watch, the Apple Watch Sport for fitness enthusiasts that features an aluminum body 30 percent lighter than the stainless steal body of the standard watch, and the gold edition watch which features an 18-karat gold body and buckle. In total, 11 different faces are available along with six different bands including stainless steal, leather, and plastic.
The watch can receive calls and texts from iPhone 5 and higher, monitor fitness, provide directions using Maps and also features animated emojis and wifi along with a broad range of other functions. Release is slated for early 2015 and the watch will retail for $349.
