Mercedes-Benz and the Budapest Airport signed a deal this past November that will add new Mercedes’ to the airports vehicle fleet. Although the car manufacturer already supplies some vehicles to the Hungarian airport, the new vehicles will be outfitted with the most modern engines possible, making them as environmentally-friendly as currently possible.

Some of the new vehicles will be from Mercedes’ B-class. Unveiled in 2014, the B-class is Mercedes’ first volume-electric car and is produced in Hungary. In August, the Budapest airport disclosed that, through various long-term, ongoing efforts, it had reduced carbon emissions by 2015.

About 250 vehicles will be replaced under the new contract. Mercedes will provide free maintenance for the first four years, in addition to providing driver courses.
