About FieldLogix
FieldLogix is a GPS fleet & workforce management application. It gives organizations the ability to monitor vehicle locations, statuses, history, health, and driver behavior. The company has been working with fleets of all sizes throughout North America since 2002.
With FieldLogix, organizations can:
Monitor technician locations in real-time
View current technician locations on Google maps along with statuses, live traffic conditions, etc.
View technician history
Review paths traveled to jobs, jobsite arrival and departure times, workday start and end times, etc.
Monitor driver safety
Receive alerts when drivers violate posted speed limits, monitor aggressive driving, and get notifications when they leave defined service areas.
Monitor vehicle health
Monitor engine diagnostics such as check engine light status, MPG’s, fluid levels and temperature, fuel levels, etc.
Monitor driver behavior
Know which drivers are wasting fuel due to excessive idling, speeding, and other poor driving habits.
Dispatch routes to drivers
Build and optimize routes and dispatch them to your drivers’ mobile devices.
Servicetrade Integration Features
The FieldLogix integration with Servicetrade is a 2-way integration. Data is pulled from Servicetrade and inserted into FieldLogix and data is also pulled from FieldLogix and inserted into Servicetrade.

View all jobs on the FieldLogix map
View all of your upcoming jobs on the FieldLogix map along with your technicians’ locations.
Determine technician proximity to jobs
You can dispatch new jobs to your closest available technicians.
View technician status
Quickly determine which technicians are at which jobs by viewing the map.
View historical jobsite entry & exit times
You can view the times that your technicians arrived and departed from your Servicetrade appointments within several FieldLogix reports.
The integration creates Landmarks in FieldLogix with your Servicetrade Service Appointments. The newly created appointments in Servicetrade will display on the FieldLogix maps within seconds of creation. Editing appointments will also edit the landmark within FieldLogix. When a job is completed in Servicetrade, it will disappear from the FieldLogix map.

With our Google Chrome Extension, you can view data from FieldLogix inside Servicetrade.

View tech locations and jobs on the Servicetrade map
Your dispatchers can see the current real-time locations of your technicians inside our map within Servicetrade along with your job locations.

Plan & optimize routes
You can build optimal routes for your jobs inside Servicetrade to ensure that your technicians minimize travel times between appointments.
View jobsite arrival & departure times in jobs records
You can view the times that the technicians arrive and depart from your jobsite inside the Servicetrade job record. This gives you the ability to fill in missing time clock records for jobs.
Prerequisites
Account Prerequisites
- You have an active FieldLogix Field Resource Management account.
- You have an active Servicetrade account.
- You are using the new “dispatch” or “scheduling” functionality within Servicetrade.
- Your Servicetrade account has the Vehicle Tracking Asset type setup.
Servicetrade User Prerequisites
- It is recommended that you set up a dedicated Servicetrade user for the FieldLogix integration.
- The new Servicetrade user should have access to Vehicle Tracking in the Asset Types settings within Servicetrade.
- The new Servicetrade user should have Account Admin access rights in Servicetrade.
- Important: You must log into Servicetrade with the newly created Servicetrade user account one time in order to accept the End User License Agreement (EULA).
Servicetrade Account Setup New homepage version
Go to My Account / My Company in the left navigation menu

Click the Edit link in the top right corner of the section that contains your company’s name.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the checkbox for (VHTRK) Vehicle Tracking and click save.

Go to the Settings page from the left navigation menu in Servicetrade.

Expand the Asset Types section and select Vehicle under the Vehicle Tracking item (which may be under the Other Service Lines section) and click save.

Servicetrade User Setup
Create your new dedicated Servicetrade integration user
Go to My Account in the left menu.
Click the Users section access the user management page.

Click Create User

Enter a username, password and other details for the integration user. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and select the User is a Technician check box and the Vehicle Tracking (VHTRK) checkbox and click save.

Log into the Servicetrade portal with the new user account one time and accept the End User License Agreement (EULA).

It is recommended that you set up a specific user account in FieldLogix for the Bridge (i.e. “mycompanyapi”). Be sure to give the account full account access. There is no fee to add this user.
Log into https://secure.fieldlogixgps.com and setup a new user, go to Settings > Manage Users in FieldLogix.


Servicetrade to FieldLogix Integration
FieldLogix Bridge Setup
Go to https://flxbridge.com
Use the newly created FieldLogix username and password to log into the Bridge.
Click on the Integrations option in the left column and select Servicetrade from the drop down.

Go to Credentials tab and enter your newly created Servicetrade account username and password and click Login with Servicetrade.

After logging into your Servicetrade account, you have the option to modify the pre-configured integration options by selecting the Configuration tab.
You have the ability to select the corresponding Landmark name in FieldLogix for your Servicetrade appointments.
They can either be formatted as the appointments time, appointment date | service location name (i.e. 11:00am 08/05 | Miguels Cocina)
Or appointment time, appointment date | Service address (i.e. 11am 08/05 | 3425 Craftsman Way, San Diego, CA 92029)
Select the desired formatting for the landmark name.

The remaining pre-configured integration fields are mapped to FieldLogix as follows:

Select the icon that you want displayed on the FieldLogix map for your Servicetrade appointments.

Enter the default radius that you want set-up for your Servicetrade appointments within FieldLogix. The radius determines that the boundaries of the geofence around the appointment locations.

Be sure to enter an e-mail address to receive alerts if there are any issues with the integration (i.e. the user’s Servicetrade credentials stop working).

Also, select your preferred time zone.

Change the status button to “on” in order to sync your data. This would send all Servicetrade appointments created within the past 24 hours into FieldLogix.

A message will then display asking you if you would like to sync your initial data. When you click “yes, sync my data”, the system will insert all of the service appointments between the current time and 24 hours from now into FieldLogix.

After setting your preferences, click “save changes”.

You can also disassociate an account with FieldLogix by going to the Credentials tab and selecting “disassociate account”. This will disconnect the integration between both systems.

You can also view activity logs for each Servicetrade integration events in the Activity Logs tab.

Verify the Integration
Verify that the integration is working by logging into your FieldLogix account and going to Settings > Manage Locations.

You will then see a list of locations under the “manage landmarks” section. If the integration is working, you should see a list of your service appointments similar to the image below.

Google Chrome Extension Installation
Visit the Google Chrome Extension store and download the Servicetrade + FieldLogix combined map extension.
After installing the Chrome Extension, you may be prompted to restart the Chrome browser.
Log into Servicetrade and click on the Jobs navigation link, then go to the New Schedule page.

Click the FieldLogix button to toggle on the combined map.

The first time you access the map, you will be prompted to enter your FieldLogix login credentials.

You will then be prompted to enter your Servicetrade user credentials.
The credentials will be saved in your browser, eliminating the need to enter them every time you access the map.

The FieldLogix + Servicetrade combined map will then display on the page.

While in the map, you can click map controls to switch between normal maps, hybrid maps, terrain maps, show live traffic, and turn on and off vehicle labels. You can also turn your restricted zones and vehicle labels on and off as well as select the landmarks to be displayed on the map.

In the filters tab, you can choose to view all vehicles, a certain group of vehicles, or a specific vehicle by clicking the dropdown.
You can also choose to view moving vehicles, stopped vehicles, or both moving and stopped vehicles.

Under the Search tab, you can select one of your appointments, then a distance in miles to find technicians near the appointment.

You can also maximize the map by clicking the maximize button on the top right corner of the map.

To zoom the map, click the plus and minus sign. To move the map, left click your mouse button to drag it.

Route Optimization
You have the ability to plan and optimize routes for your technicians within the Servicetrade map.
Go to the routing tab, then apply the filters to display jobs to be dispatched.
Offices Filter – filter by jobs at a certain office
Jobs Filter – Filter by a specific job or by all jobs
Schedule Status – Filter for Unscheduled or Scheduled jobs
Date Range – Filter for appointments within a certain due date range.

After applying your filters, you can select appointments to add to the route from the dropdown.
Select a single or multiple jobs and click the Add button.

In order to optimize your route, you need to enter the technician’s starting address for the route to be calculated. This will auto-populate as the ending address as well.

You will then select the route rules that you want to apply to the route, if any.

When you are ready to optimize the route, click Optimize Route

You would then select a technician from the dropdown and click Send to Queue

The jobs will then display in Servicetrade’s New Dispatch page in the optimized order in the queue. You would then drag and drop them to assign them to your technician’s schedule.

View Clock events
FieldLogix will automatically create geofences around your Servicetrade jobs as your technicians vehicle enter and exit appointment locations.
Click on the All Jobs link to access your jobs.

Then click on any of the completed Servicetrade jobs

You will then see the jobsite entry and exit records below the time clock records.
