Garmin has introduced two new GPS watches that are packed with features, such as being the first GPS watches with a color screen, and the ability to predict race finishes.
The Forerunner 220 and 620 watches were recently introduced, and they are both equipped with a 1-inch Chroma display. Additionally, both watches contain rechargeable batteries that last up to six weeks in regular watch mode and 10 hours in training mode, and both GPS watches are equipped with Bluetooth, and an accelerometer to track distance and pace.
The Forerunner 620 adds in additional features as well, such as Wi-Fi connectivity, and the ability to calculate and predict how long it will take for you to finish a course. It also uses a touchscreen, while the 220 is controlled by physical buttons. The Forerunner 220 costs $249.99, while the price of a Forerunner 620 is $399.99. Both watches can be connected to an optional heart rate monitor at an additional cost of $50, and both watches come in 2 different colors.
