US Gas Prices Increase 23 Cents in One Month

The national average for unleaded regular is $3.60 per gallon, an increase of over 5 cents from last week, according to the AAA Fuel Gauge Report. One month ago gas was at $3.37. Gas gas prices have risen over 23 cents in the last 30 days.

Alaska gas prices reached $4.06 and Hawaii is at $4.25. New Jersey has the lowest price in the continental U.S. at $3.40 a gallon and California the highest at $4.04 a gallon.

A weaker dollar and continued uncertainty in the Middle East pushed oil prices toward $107 per barrel today.
