GPS Pet Tracking to Grow to $2.6 Billion by 2025

gps pet trackingA recently released report by IDTechEx projects the pet tracking industry will grow to $2.6 billion by 2025. GPS trackers aren’t just for humans and cars anymore.

The pet industry has seen exponential growth of GPS trackers, activity trackers, long-range Bluetooth trackers, health monitors, training devices and other wearable tech gadgets for both our furry friends. GPS tracking for endangered species and other wild animals for research and conservation efforts has also increased providing scientists with priceless information otherwise unattainable.

Currently, there are around 300 manufacturers worldwide focused on wearable pet tech and that number is expected to jump up to 500 by 2025.
