Field Technologies, the creator of the FieldLogix GPS tracking system, today announced their authorized partnership with Garmin International. The new relationship has allowed them to launch Fieldlogix +NAV, a new product that combines fleet management with turn-by-turn driver navigation.
San Diego, CA April 23, 2009 — Field Technologies, an innovator in GPS tracking and logistics systems, announced today they have adopted Garmin International’s fleet management interface (FMI) into their product portfolio.
Field Technologies can now directly integrate Garmin’s navigation systems into FieldLogix, its proprietary GPS fleet tracking product. The two systems will have the ability to work together seamlessly and will allow businesses to experience the benefits of a combined GPS tracking and turn-by-turn driver navigation solution.
The new product released last week, named FieldLogix +NAV, presents a unique opportunity for fleet owners to further optimize their business and provide better service for their customers. Users will be able to send messages and routing information directly to drivers in the field, which will result in better response times and less travel time.
