2 New Notification Features For FieldLogix

San Diego , CA – January 18, 2008 – Field Technologies announces two new notification features for FieldLogix. The first notification feature alerts the users through e-mail or SMS when vehicles operate during off hours. This ensures that companies receive immediate notification if vehicles are stolen or driven by employees during off-hour periods. The second notification alerts the users when drivers start their work days late or end the work days early. The users can schedule the drivers’ shifts. If the drivers start working later than the scheduled time, the user receives an e-mail notification. The user also receives an e-mail alert if the drivers stop working earlier than the scheduled time.

“We believe that an extensive set of notification features is a key ingredient to a successful GPS fleet tracking product. Most GPS fleet tracking systems provide minimal notifications and require users to dedicate valuable administrative time to reviewing hundreds of pages of reports to discover inefficiencies. Through our experiences as a former GPS product reseller, we found that most users do not have time to do this. We believe that users must manage by exception and use a system that automatically notifies them when productivity issues arise.”
