The Falls police department is adding a kid-sized community relations vehicle to their fleet. The decked-out mini patrol car was unveiled at City Hall recently and is perfect for pint-sized curiosity.
The idea came from the Deputy Superintendent, Carl Cain. Falls Police Superintendent, Bryan DalPorto, said, “You know the Community Relations Division [which is under Cain’s command] does a lot of stuff with kids and he said they always wanted to see a police car and be in a police car and [Cain] decided to get one that fit [kids].”
The battery-powered Dodge Charger was purchased off the shelf and received a makeover including an authentic paint job, police insignia, patrol lights, and sirens.
