GPS Tracker Gaining Crowd Support

The family of an Autistic child has launched their own crowdfunded startup to create affordable GPS trackers for other families in need.

The GPS tracker, created by CloudHawk USA is a pocket tracker with a seven-day battery and temperature monitor. The project is gaining momentum on indiegogo.com during Autism awareness month. The company plans to offer the GPS tracker at a steep discount so families of both autistic children as well as Alzheimer’s patients will be able to afford it.

The tracker will also be sold to business and can be used to track small fleets. Information from the tracker is available through an app on iPhone and android or any internet interface. The GPS tracker retails for $150, but consumers can purchase it for as little as $75.
