With Goose, the dispatcher can send messages and notes over to the technicians, who then notify customers when they are going to arrive with an ETA alert. Bak-Re-Pair Inc is a well established mechanical services company and has been providing equipment maintenance services within the food industry since 1976.

The company has been a FieldLogix customer for years, taking advantage of the company’s flagship fleet tracking and management system. Bak-Re-Pair started by using FieldLogix’s fleet management system and then decided to add Goose to better manage their operations. RLH Fire Protection

RLH Fire Protection designs, installs, inspects and repairs fire suppression systems throughout California. They operate a fleet of 50 vehicles from their regional offices in Bakersfield, Pleasanton, and San Francisco. With our trend reports, which display fleet idling and speeding averages, Eric, their fleet manager, is able to successfully track his new policy regarding idling and speeding.

Eric pointed out a sharp decline in idling and speeding averages in the report by saying “Do you see the how the trend reports began to show a downward trend from the month of May onward? Well… I started working here in May.”

Ventura, CA

What they do

CED Ventura has been in business for nearly 50 years and supplies electrical products and solutions in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. With hundreds of distributors throughout the country, their code of service is “integrity and reliability for the customer’s best interest”.

Prior to Goose, CED Ventura was unable to efficiently track their assets and their drivers’ whereabouts. They were concerned about accurate location readings and wanted more transparency with their drivers on the road.

How we help them

To help ensure drivers and routes are able to reach their fullest potential, CED Ventura wanted Goose, in addition to our full tracking system, to improve their overall workday processes. Before FieldLogix, they had problems managing their 14 delivery drivers. Plate Therapy
Santa Clarita, CA

What they do

Plate Therapy hand-crafts meals for people with a busy-bee lifestyle, so healthy eating is no longer a challenge.  They currently have two drivers and are still growing.  Plate Therapy recently moved into a larger kitchen and is cooking up BIG things in the Los Angeles area.

Previously Danielle would spend hours mapping out her customers’ deliveries and creating routes by hand.

Danielle would utilize Google maps to determine how long the routes would take & “guesstimate” ETA’s for her clients.  She would then go through and text them all individually the next day as their meals were on the way.  This presented a major distraction for her when her time was better used focusing on running her business.

How we help them

Danielle now uses Goose to build and optimize routes and dispatch them to her drivers’ smartphones within minutes.  She spends less time creating routes and more time cooking up healthy, delicious meals.   Her customers are happier because her drivers send out ETA alerts with a click of a button when they are in-route to each delivery.

Fresh & Fit Meals
San Diego, CA

What they do

Fresh and Fit Meals is a firm believer in making healthy meals easier and more affordable. By shopping, cooking, and preparing your meals they simplify the process of eating healthy. They have 10 delivery drivers who deliver to a solid fan base of food lovers in San Diego and they are continuing to expand.

Before Goose, it took their shipment manager 8-16 hours each week to create their delivery routes.  Routing was based on the manager’s knowledge of the area and when he was out of the office they scrambled to try and organize routes.  Delivery times were another concern because their clients didn’t want their food to sit on the doorstep longer than necessary.  The company’s drivers were forced to individually text message their client 15 minutes prior to arrival, which didn’t always happen.

How we help them

Their dispatcher, Alonso, uses Goose to build delivery routes in minutes.  Immediately upon using Goose, he proclaimed “You just gave me my weekends back”.  He also says that he “loves Goose and how it helps with Customer Service, [so] when our  customers call about their delivery we have an answer for them. How we help them

As Dine in 2Nite began growing their business into other areas, they needed tools to be more organized and manage deliveries. Dine in 2Nite spent hours manually inputting stops, creating routes, and checking the status of their deliveries. They realized they needed tools to help them manage their deliveries as they expanded.

What they do

Based in Toronto, Canada, Essential Meal Delivery is unique to the industry by providing clients with the option to pay a one time fee to individually craft their meals. They have a high demand of delivery orders to offices, gyms, and homes.

With their growing demand of meal delivery orders, Essential Meal Delivery found their current software to be limiting.  The system allowed them to create routes, but they had to manually text them to their drivers. They felt that the software they were using was not providing them with enough tools to help them plan, manage, and complete their deliveries.

How we help them

In order for Essential Meal Delivery to continue serving more areas they needed the proper tools at a good price to help them along the way. Prior to Goose, the company used Google Maps to define their delivery areas and then relied on their drivers to create their own routes for their deliveries.  In addition to the fact the routes weren’t efficient, it took time away from drivers’ day which could be better utilized to complete more stops.

Incorporating Goose has allowed The Meal Prep Company to effectively utilize the time of both their dispatch and delivery teams. Dispatch makes use of the bulk uploader to upload and save routes and optimize their deliveries.  Their drivers can focus on providing outstanding customer service by sending ETA alerts to their customers right before they are in-route.  This provides customers with a better timeframe so they no longer have to wait around for a 4-hour delivery time-window.
